Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo/Riverwalk

Rundown motel, not HOTEL. First room assigned had no safety lock and deadbolt would not bolt. Staff would not answer the phone so I had to walk back and wait in line. The sole checkin employee was slow and alone and announced my room number publicly.

Rooms weren?t as clean as in the sense of we found the towels and wash clothes really overly used and not clean along with the funny smell in the room

My door did not have a bar lock. It only had the bar, but no swivel to secure the door. My door key also unkeyed every day so I had to walk across the street to the office each day to have it rekeyed. Did not feel safe. Staff was always nice though.

The smell of the room, the peeling paint, lack of upkeep of the hotel. Parking is an additional 15.00 my security lock was broken off.

The smell (smells like gasoline) in the room. The noises from the ceiling (a child, or children running and jumping above) was unbearable throughout the stay.

The room has a smell of humidity, but doesn't bothers a lot.

It is convenient for us as it is located near the train station. We are able to leave to catch an early morning train to our destination and check in late on our return trip.

The location to the riverwalk was very convenient. The shower had wonderful water pressure.

Nearly all the linens had long black hair on them (towels, sheets, washcloths). The floor was quite dirty and when I stepped into the shower having walked barefoot on the floor, copious amounts of dirt filled the water as it drained into the drain.

It was too much money for the type of hotel. Was charged Extra for parking and with a high deposit. And did NOT know about it till we check in! You could hear All the loud noise from the street and side walk. I will remember so we will NOT go there again!

clerk was rude. Room was dirty and smelled like smoke. I was charged extra for parking and security deposit. They refused to issue a refund when I told them I wanted to cancel.

Extreme smell of smoke, beds were broken, trash on the floor, urine on the toilet seat.

Hated hotel smelled Like smoke and carpet was so dirty and black there were gnats everywhere and for being downtown it was the worst experience. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location.

The staff did not do there job. I complained regarding my tv not having sound on one of the channels. The staff at the front desk in the evening then stated they did not have a room to change me with and no maintenance person on duty.

It has a working AC, locks also worked as well as running water.

Lack of upkeep and overall maintenance or grounds and furnishings. Words mean nothing without actually having a Wyndham VP stay at the hotel. I challenge any C-suite exec to stay at least one night maybe two in the same room I stayed in room 111.
